Strategy to succeed

- D- Day
Suggestions for AWS Practitioners
- Develop a skill to find keywords and phrases from the question
- Create a memory map with the keywords and phases
- Identify the important phases like ‘cost efficient’, ‘all-time available’ etc
- Look for the qualifying clauses like ‘best solution’, ‘most secure’, ‘most durable’ etc
- Filter out the least possible/wrong options to pick the correct one
- Think from the most cost-effective, durable, and easy solution point of view
- In a few cases, more than one option can be correct. but the best suitable solution is the expected one
- Never lose your confidence if you find you are not sure about multiple questions during the exam. take every question as a fresh start
Suggestions for AWS Associates
- Keep the suggestions for AWS practitioners in mind
- Good to have hands-on experience in live projects
- Questions are lengthy compared to practitioners, and options are close to each other
- Go through AWS Professional online courses in Udemy, Linux Academy/Cloud Guru, LinkedIn Learning (Check the best reviews and select the course. I’m not advocating for any particular course)
- Make sure you go for multiple practice tests. Check to practice tests in Udemy, Linux Academy/Cloud Guru, LinkedIn Learning
Suggestions for AWS Professional
- Keep the suggestions for AWS associates in mind
- Questions are VERY lengthy
- TIME is a big factor to win the game
- A TINY difference between multiple choices determines the correct answer
- Choices are very detail-oriented
- For the Professional exam, you MUST have hands-on experience in live projects
- In maximum cases, most options are true/workable but you have to pic the most suitable best solution
- Study in detail for major services/areas such as IAM, Security, ECS, DynamoDB, Messaging, Autoscaling
- Don’t be demotivated or overconfident if you fail or pass in practice tests repetitively
- Make sure you get the practice test from trustworthy sources. There are many freely available online practice tests in the internet doesn’t give proper Q&A. These don’t measure your preparation at all
